Pillow Talk with Persia Notarberardino

Pillow Talk with Persia Notarberardino

We are delighted to introduce you to Persia Notarberardino (she/her) – a Sydney-based model and creative whose presence is as intentional as it is magnetic. A Scorpio at heart, Persia is sensual, articulate and deeply intuitive, with a natural curiosity for connection and self-expression.

We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with her for our latest instalment of Pillow Talk, where she shared with us everything from her experiences with sexual wellness to what’s on her nightstand.

Here's a snippet of our chat.

What's on your nightstand?

My LBDO Essensual Vibe (always), assorted jewellery, Aesop body lotion and my current read — Boy Parts by Eliza Clark, which I can’t seem to put down!

What's the last thing you do before you go to sleep?

Being an early riser, my evenings are dedicated to slowing down. I dim the lights, let go of the day, and create a space where I can fully relax, keeping my phone charged outside the room is a must— I’ve learned to prioritise this ritual after having trouble with sleep in the past.

Ideal date idea?

Oysters and wine are my usual go-to, though I’m just as happy with something more casual and intimate. I see dating as a kind of foreplay — not just for sex, but for building connection and chemistry with someone.

How do you take care of your sexual wellness?

Sexual wellness and sensuality are the places within myself that feel most at home. Sex embodies my most confident, experimental and safe self — it’s a space where I move without fear. I’ve been fortunate to nurture a healthy relationship with sex, though I’m conscious that this isn’t the reality for many.I honour sex as I would any other ritual of self-care. I notice its shifting textures through the rhythm of my cycle — the heightened sensitivity of ovulation, the deep pull of the luteal phase — each one colouring the experience differently.

Self-pleasure has always been instinctual for me. Growing up, I moved often, weaving through new cities and communities gifted me diverse perspectives. Those experiences loosened the grip of shame and allowed me to celebrate pleasure freely in my adult life. For me, communication is non-negotiable. It’s the vessel through which we reveal, protect and shape our desires. Sound, too, is essential — moans, whispers, soft commands — each one a compass guiding the body closer to pleasure.

At times, I invite tools like the LBDO Essensual Vibe into these moments, both in solitude and with a partner to stimulate new layers of sensation and carry me towards a more elevated O.

What’s something you wish you knew about sex when you were younger?

I believe we already have an innate awareness when we’re young, yet exposure, expectation and misinformation hinder our perception of sex - what it is, or what it should be. If we strip away those confines and return to an open conversation we can arrive at a deeper, more personal understanding of this shared dance.
